Elizabeth is 27 and already suffers from severe dental issues. For years she has had trouble eating and been embarrassed to laugh or smile. As a school teacher in Nicaragua she earns $40 a month which has made it difficult for her to afford the care she needs.

When our team visited the community of Coyolar, Elizabeth was finally able to get the dental care that she needed and be relieved of her pain. She also made sure that her daughter and students attended the clinic which served a total of 151 patients over a two day period.

Elizabeth, along with the entire Coyolar community, was extremely appreciative of the dental team’s hard work and hope that they will continue to have dental clinics to help those who don’t have access to the care that they need.
