“You could tell his spirits were raised,” says Bridgett Bullard, Office Manager at the Bellingham, Wash., Bright Now!® Dental office. “To see the way he first came into the office, to how he was after the treatments, truly warmed my heart.”

Bridgett is referring to Wesley Downing, a Community Smile Project patient who received complimentary dental treatment at the Bellingham office through the Smiles for Everyone Foundation’s Community Smile Project (CSP).

“Wesley is a wonderful gentleman who was unable to obtain much needed dental treatment for several reasons,” noted Bridgett on his nomination form.  “Due to Parkinson’s disease, Barrett’s Esophagus and multiple medications, his teeth were rapidly deteriorating. It was also difficult for him to perform daily life functions, including eating properly, which further weakened him.

“The Team members were onboard to lend a helping hand to make a miracle happen,” continues Bridgett. “Dr. Manjot Tathgur and Oral Surgeon Dr. Ted Hughes primarily treated Wesley. By the end of the treatments, Wesley was extremely happy with the results.”

Concludes Bridgett, “It’s an amazing feeling to be able to give back and be a part of making someone’s life easier, happier and healthier. It was an honor to be able to Celebrate. Everyday. Miracles™ with Wesley!”
