On May 8-9, 2018, Our Thailand International Outpost Volunteers conducted an outreach at the Correctional Institution for Drug Addicts in Lampang, Thailand. Twenty volunteers came together to provide much needed dental care for over 150 patients. The three doctors and their support staff conducted 144 extractions, 9 fillings and 1 scaling. The need for dental care was so great, as many patients had rotten teeth that was causing them much pain. Our Thailand team continues to deliver Smiles to their communities in more ways than one. The kindness that these volunteers show to their patients goes a long way, making their patients feel very comfortable and supported during treatment.
