“She’s a loving mother, and a dedicated member to her church and community, always putting others first,” says Dr. Kenny Duff, Lead Dentist at the Fort Smith, Ark., Monarch Dental® office. “It was her church members who came forward and nominated her!”
Dr. Duff is talking about Amy Bullock, a Community Smile Project patient who recently received complimentary dental treatment at the Fort Smith office through the Smiles for Everyone Foundation’s Community Smile Project (CSP).
“Amy was having teeth pain and was so unhappy with her smile that she guarded her mouth,” says Office Manager Gaye Israel. “However, she was unable to receive much-needed dental treatment.”
That’s when the Fort Smith office stepped in to help. “We provided a variety of procedures such as periodontal therapy and extraction of wisdom teeth, but what made this case special was that she was the first CSP patient to receive Invisalign® treatment!” says Dr. Duff, who is also an orthodontist.
“At the end of the treatments, Amy was so grateful that she brought each of us a gift,” Dr. Duff adds. “The most heartwarming part was seeing her transformative smile, which made all the hard work worth it. Overall, this project strengthened our Team bond, and inspired us to continually deliver Smiles for Everyone®, especially by helping more patients in need!”
