On September 22, a team of dental providers and support staff gathered at Monarch Dental® in Lewisville, TX to provide no cost dental services to underinsured individuals such as Annah. In partnership with the Smiles for Everyone Foundation, our team of volunteers offered services including x-rays, exams, fillings, extractions, cleanings, fluoride treatments, oral cancer screenings, and more.
Volunteer providers included Dr. Melissa Dean, Dr. Siv Eftekhari, Dr. Lynda Kol, Dr. Wilner Loiseau, Dr. Randy Richardson, and Dr. Danling Yu.
The Smiles for Everyone Foundation partnered with local non-profit organizations to identify individuals in need to attend this event. These organizations include Help Out, which provides food and support services; Hands of Hope, which provides support services for the homeless; and Communities in Schools North Texas, which provides services to at-risk youth.
Overall, the Lewisville team cared for nearly 60 patients, providing over $55,000 in donated dentistry!
Since its inception, the Smiles for Everyone Foundation has delivered smiles to over 17,500 people in need, donating over $13.6 million in dental services.
