Bright Now!® Dental Delivers Smiles to Communities in Fresno, CA
This past Sunday, volunteers from Bright Now! Dental gave back to California’s Central Valley! Four dentists, one hygienist, and their dedicated support staff hosted the Fresno Day of Giving, where members of underserved communities were able to benefit from nearly $50,000 of donated dentistry. Individuals were referred to the event by local nonprofit organizations, such as Poverello House Homeless Shelter, Angels of Grace Foster Agency, and Life Cathedral Food Pantry. Services provided included check-ups, cleanings, extractions, x-rays, and more.
The Fresno Team cared for nearly 60 underinsured patients that showed much appreciation for their services. “I am very overwhelmed,” says patient Janice S. “I haven’t seen my teeth look so good since I was young. I can’t keep from crying!” The Team was also commended for their efficiency and respectable manner. “I am very impressed by the professionalism and commitment to the community of those with less,” says Elizabeth S. “Giving back is a true sign of a professional.”
