Sandra was pleasantly surprised when her Diaconia women’s group notified her that there was going to be free dental care in the plaza near her house, so she took her son to be treated. Marcelo has autism and it is very difficult for other people to be close to him, but Dr. Lopes, with patience and love, was able to treat him. She extracted the tooth that hurt him and gave Marcelo a new brush and toothpaste that he needed but we couldn’t buy. Sandra was so grateful that her son is no longer in pain.
