Our Thailand International Outpost continues to serve the people in need in their community through their many dental outreaches. On January 19-20, 2018, four dentists and fifteen support staff volunteered their time to deliver Smiles to 226 individuals in the Omkoi district of Chiangmai, Thailand. During this event, the team was able to provide 83 scalings, 66 fillings, 41 extractions,and 36 other procedures. The children who were treated were also given lessons on proper oral hygiene and how to effectively brush their teeth.
It was a great day full of Smiles from both the patients and the volunteers. The Thailand International Outpost will continue to host dental outreaches for the community in need as they further the mission of delivering Smiles for Everyone!
