Over the past few months, Grant Road Dental has been screening individuals in need to be candidates to receive free dental implants at the Mountain View Day of Giving. On Sunday, May 20, these individuals finally got their Smiles back and for many, the ability to bite and chew again.Twenty nine individuals were selected to receive much needed immediate load implants at our event. To help identify these individuals, Smiles for Everyone Foundation partnered with veterans organizations, food pantries and homeless shelters such as Avenidas, HomeFirst Sunnyvale Shelter, Community Services Agency, and Sunnyvale Community Services.
“I just wanted to thank you for the new implant and two crown replacements I received this weekend,” says patient Laura Katicich. “I was treated like a queen by the friendly and knowledgeable staff and I felt in good hands with the state-of-the-art treatment options and technology provided there. The implant I received took only 2 hours and I was able to drive home by myself after Dr. Greg Ganji treated me. My smile is beautiful!”
Overall, the volunteers were able to provide 50 implants, 60 crowns and 32 extractions, totaling over $300,000 in donated dentistry!
