Our Thailand International Outpost team wrapped up a successful year of delivering Smiles for people in need with outreaches at the House of Blessing Foundation and in the Mae Suai District of Chiang Rai.
House of Blessing Foundation
Six dentists and 20 support staff visited the House of Blessing Foundation on October 20 and delivered Smiles to over 70 individuals in need. The team of volunteers provided 23 cleanings, 20 fillings, 9 extractions and 21 various other cases, helping the underserved community get the much needed dental care that they would otherwise not be able to receive.
Chang Rai
From November 24 – 26, the team of volunteers held a large-scale outreach in the Mae suai district in Chiang Rai, providing dental care to over 300 individuals. Along with conducting hundreds of dental procedures, the volunteers also took some time to hand out hygiene kits and educate the community on proper brushing techniques and oral hygiene care.
