Smile Brands Inc. Affiliated Volunteers Hand-Deliver 75 Smiles in Westminster, CA!
On Sunday, February 24th, nearly 50 volunteers were eager to give back at our Westminster Day of Giving. Doctors, hygienists, office support, and business support staff from Smile Brands Inc. affiliated offices across Southern California all arrived at Newport Dental to give back Smiles to community members in need.
Patients were informed about the event through the Smiles for Everyone Foundation’s partnership with local nonprofits. Some of those organizations included Miracles for Kids, an assistance program for critically-ill children, Working Wardrobes, a program that donates professional work attire, Grandma’s House of Hope, a transitional housing facility, and Orange County United Way, an organization dedicated to community enhancement. Every patient was welcomed by a warm Team of volunteers who ensured that their entire visit was enjoyable from start to finish.
The compassion and dedication from the Westminster Team is what made it possible for 75 low-income patients to receive nearly $60,000 in donated dentistry. Patients were extremely grateful for the overwhelming support provided to their community, and some were pleasantly surprised by how efficiently the Team worked. “The staff was fast and stayed consistent,” commented Pricilla D. “The dentist paid close attention to my concerns and took note of what I may need to do in the near future. I was astonished, and I’m grateful for everything!”
