The mission of the Smiles for Everyone Foundation is simple: To deliver “Smiles for Everyone!” by providing free dental care to those in need, both at home in the U.S. and around the world. This mission grew from Smile Brands Inc.’s philosophy of delivering “Smiles for Everyone” including patients, affiliated providers and employees, as well as the community. By providing pro bono dental services to underserved communities around the world, we bring this philosophy to life and give back in a way that only dentists can.
The Smiles for Everyone Foundation continues to provide free dental services for individuals in need through Community Smile Projects in the United States and International Smile Projects in Cambodia, Ghana, Laos, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Thailand. Our Thailand International Outpost expands to provide dental services for people in need in Cambodia and Laos. SEAL Team Four travels to Nicaragua, providing dental care for over 620 patients and establishing an International Outpost to provide dental services in areas where on average only one in 570 children have ever visited a dentist. The Smiles for Everyone Foundation launches a third International Smile Project in Ghana where there is only one dentist for every 150,000 people. During this trip, Seal Team Three provides dental care for over 885 individuals in need. In the United States, the Community Smile Project is launched to provide pro bono dental services to individuals in need across the nation. Seal Team Two travels to remote areas in Thailand to establish a second International Outpost, providing dental care for 725 patients, many of whom travel miles by foot to see a dentist for the first time in their lives.
